Tom McClane- Artistic Director & Tutor/ Founder
Tom McClane trained as an actor at Drama Centre London and has worked with Cheek by Jowl, Owen Horsely, Di Trevis and Joseph BLatchley. He trained as a director on the MFA at Birkbeck College and shadowed RADA and Drama Centre acting tutor John Besschizza for over a year, before starting his own teaching practice. Directing credits include Hedda Gabler, Ghosts and A Dolls House at Guildford School of Acting. Twelfth Night, Holy Ghosts, The Wild Duck, Three Sisters, Fuente Ovejuna and Here comes the Chopper at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He was the trainee director at Jermyn Street Theatre, where he was the associate director on A Woman Before a Glass directed by Austin Pendleton. He was an associate on the Hound of the Baskerville at the English Theatre Frankfurt and the Deutsches Theatre Munich, directed by Lottie Wakeman. He has assisted Bijan Sheibani, Alice Hamilton, and Tim Crouch. He has been a regular acting tutor at Drama Centre London, GSA and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. In 2018 he was invited to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to teach the Yat Malmgren/Laban system of Character Analysis..
Sara Kessel - Executive Producer/ Founder
Throughout her creative career, Sara worked as a production assistant and PA to BAFTA-nominated Producer Bart Ruspoli. She played a pivotal role in the management of The Actors Temple in London as PR and Marketing Director and Producer, and helping to oversee the day-to-day operations of the acting training studio of over 200 students.
Aditionally, Sara collaborated with RADA Business, contributing to the production and coordination of a high-budget touring production in regional areas.
Fueled by her passion and expertise in travel and well-being, Sara has explored various corners of the globe, working with teams of experts organising and delivering immersive travel and event experiences. Partnering with Tom on various initiatives, Telos Theatre was born.
